About Me

Experienced fashion professional with a proven history of creative business strategy and product design & development. Skilled in designing menswear garments as well as developing and executing; efficient & effective critical paths to ensure that final products are produced to the highest possible quality, whilst working within strict time and budget constraints.

Extensive knowledge, experience and creative thinking have been demonstrated whilst working within different industry subcategories. Playing key roles within the development of multiple companies such as: Alice Gwyneth Jewellery; a sustainability focused, independent jewellery label & Äkta Norr; a luxury menswear label specialising in 'Made in England' garments featured in HYPEBEAST, Complex & Wonderland Magazine.

Stylist

As a freelance Stylist, Mark works closely with Temple Studios, Manchester. Headed up by Alexander Bather, adding depth and experience to an already keen eye for styling. Using this as his primary studio for brand Äkta Norr the campaigns Mark has styled have been featured in prestigious editorials; HYPEBEAST, Complex, Wonderland & Proper Mag multiple times over. 

Through the close work with  Temple Studios Mark also works as stylist for G_osts an Agency headed up by Alexander Bather and Oliver Lloyd-Taylor.

Our Mancunian mates Äkta Norr have just unveiled the first drop of their SS21 collection of heatwave-appropriate loose and layering friendly garms. Handsewn and constructed in England, this versatile drop sees midnight Blue, Black, and Natural Cotton twill colourways reintroduced in the form of finely constructed shorts with a multitude of pockets the most eye-catching being that ace signature Äkta Norr circular pocket which also features on that rather ace popover smock I’ve got my eye on.

Following their debut “Made in England” capsule earlier this year, Manchester-based label Äkta Norr returns for Spring/Summer 2021 with a collection that continues much in the same vein.
